The Notes feature allows you to capture important context, findings, or internal commentary directly within the Avallone platform. Notes are designed to support collaboration, transparency, and auditability across both the Responder and Collector modules.
What are Notes used for?
Notes are intended for internal documentation, such as:
Additional findings or observations
Context behind decisions or assessments
Clarifications related to companies, officers, or counterparties
Internal explanations that may be useful for audits or future reviews
Notes are internal-only and are not shared externally.
Where can you add Notes in the Responder?
You can add notes in the following places:
Companies – to document company-level context or findings
Officers – to capture individual-specific information (e.g. explanations, clarifications)
Requests – to add context related to a specific request
How syncing works in the Responder
Notes added to a Company or Officer are automatically visible wherever that entity appears
Notes added within a Request are synced and visible both:
In the Request itself
On the related Company or Officer record
This ensures all relevant context stays connected, regardless of where you are working.
Notes in the Collector Module
In the Collector, Notes allow you to document extra findings or information related to:
Counterparties
Requests
How syncing works in the Collector
Notes added to a Counterparty are visible on that counterparty’s profile
Notes added within a Request automatically sync and display:
In the Request
On the related Counterparty record
This provides a single source of truth for contextual information.
Important: Audit Trail & Immutability
To preserve a complete and reliable audit trail:
Notes cannot be edited
Notes cannot be deleted
Once a note is added, it becomes a permanent record. This ensures transparency, accountability, and compliance with audit requirements.
💡 Tip: If additional clarification is needed later, simply add a new note rather than attempting to update an existing one.
