Use multiple search profiles in Avallone to apply different screening settings for different use cases.
Multiple search profiles can be helpful if you want to tailor screening based on factors such as counterparty type, jurisdiction, product, or risk appetite.
What are multiple search profiles?
A search profile defines how a screening is run.
With multiple search profiles, your team can choose between different screening setups instead of using the same setup for every screening.
For example, you may want different settings for:
- legal entities and individuals
- standard screening and higher-risk cases
- different business lines or jurisdictions
How it works
- Avallone can configure multiple search profiles for your tenant.
- When more than one profile is available, users are prompted to choose a profile when starting a new screening.
The selected profile is then used for that screening and its ongoing monitoring.
Important to know
- Multiple search profiles apply to new screenings going forward.
- Existing screenings keep their current setup unless they are updated separately.
- The profile selector appears only when more than one profile has been configured for your tenant.
When to consider multiple search profiles
You may benefit from multiple search profiles if you want to:
- reduce unnecessary alerts for certain use cases
- apply different screening approaches across teams or workflows
- align screening settings more closely with your internal risk approach
- separate screening logic for different types of counterparties
Setting up a search profile for a tenant
Here’s how to do it:
1. Log in to the ComplyAdvantage account you would like to set the profile up for
2. Create a search profile and configure it according to your risk profile
3. Copy the ID of the profile
How to get set up
If you are interested in using multiple search profiles, the setup is done together with Avallone.
A typical setup process looks like this:
- Identify the different screening scenarios you want to support.
- Define the search profiles you would like to use.
- Share your desired setup with your Avallone contact.
- Avallone configures the profiles for your tenant.
- Your users can then choose the relevant profile when starting new screenings.
If you already use ComplyAdvantage search profiles, Avallone can help map those profiles into your tenant setup.
